O God of Mercy, we beg You now to protect in a special way those who are fighting for us and for the country we love. Bless them and take care of them. If they are tired, give them strength. If they are wounded and suffering, give them comfort. If they are lonely, touch them with Your gentle hand and let them know that You are near them. Grant them strength, wisdom and help through Your power and Your limitless love. Amen.

Doing something that matters.

Tonight I heard this song (which is post in the last blog post before this one.) But it really made me think about the words and what this song really meant to me. I listen to the song a few times on how my life could relate to this, wanting to leave my mark on this earth before my time is up. Then I got excited thinking about it, because I have already started leaving my mark on this earth I do this every single day of my life, by helping others. Such a great feeling when someone comes and tell you how blessed they are for you helping them in a time of need, whether it was making an extra income, or helping them by turning their  homes in to safe and healthier ones, or just holding there hand. Book Review. The Lucky One

The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks      I read this book in about four days. Its my first book by Nicholas Sparks and it won't be my last book either. I give it a 7 out of 10 . Its about a young marine from Colorado that had been deployed over to the Iraq War. He gives details about the battles and losses he encounters there . He finds a picture of a girl and believes that picture brings him good-luck and is the reason he is still alive . Once he is discharge from the corps he ventures out to find out who this mystery woman is in the picture he had found . Very good read. I am hoping to be able to watch the movie and compare the two with each other.
